Mechanical Engineer - Designer

This is a full time position.

Duty Location: North Las Vegas, Nevada

Description:

Bigelow Aerospace is seeking Mechanical and Aerospace Engineers with 5+ years experience in any of the following areas:

Structures design
Mechanism design
Component placement
Packaging
Heat sink design

Successful candidates in any of these specialties should be able to perform related analyses including FEA and classical hand calculations. Projects will involve the design and manufacture of space vehicle structures, electromechanical mechanisms and environmental control and life support systems.

Qualifications:

US Citizens and Permanent Residents Only

Required Qualifications:

Solid Works CAD applications
Smarteam PLM
Cosmos/M experience is a plus but not required.
Knowledge of ANSI Y14.5M drawing standards is highly desirable.
Must be a highly motivated self-starter.

EDUCATION:

BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. Aerospace experience a plus.
